UK’s growth forecast trimmed to 1.3% in 2017 – IMF

The Paris-based think-tank has lowered its growth forecast for the UK to 1.7% (from 2.2%) in 2016 and to 1.3% for 2017 following the recent decision by the UK to leave the European Union.

The IMF has also cut the global growth forecast to 3.1% from 3.2% in 2016 and to 3.4% for the next year.
