Ex-BOJ Momma: No 'bazooka' BOJ easing at Sept meeting - RTRS

A former senior Bank of Japan (BOJ) executive, Kazuo Momma, crossed the wires, via Reuters, earlier on the day, noting that the central bank would refrain from further easing this month, in wake of an improvement in the economic conditions since it eased in the month of July.

"The BOJ will look at not just the merits but the costs of its policies at this month's comprehensive assessment. That makes the hurdle for topping up bond buying or deepening negative rates higher"
