The week ahead - Rabobank

Analysts at Rabobank explained the week ahead looks like.

Key Quotes:

"Markets look to US personal income and spending and the PCE deflator for December (seen 1.5% y- o-y core).

Tomorrow it’s Japanese unemployment and retail sales, German CPI, Eurozone confidence and Q4 GDP, US consumer confidence, and Trump’s State of the Union address.

Wednesday sees BOJ minutes, Aussie CPI –a big number there- Chinese PMIs, and Eurozone CPI ahead of US ADP employment, the Chicago PMI, and Canadian monthly GDP. There’s also the Fed, of course.

Thursday has Aussie building approvals, global PMIs, and the US ISM manufacturing survey.

Friday then sees US payrolls and factory orders – so another big number to end the week."
