Fed press conference: Jerome Powell speech - Live Stream - Dec. 19

Jerome Powell, Chairman of the Federal Reserve System, will be delivering his remarks on the monetary policy outlook at a press conference following the 2-day meeting of the Board of Governors. Powell's speech today (December 19, 2018) will start at 19:30 GMT.

Most experts expect the Fed to announce a 25 bps rate hike today. However, the focus will be on the updated economic projections and the dot diagram, which will reveal how many rate hikes FOMC members expect in 2019.
