NZD/USD retreats after trading above 0.8500

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD is rising on Thursday for the second day in a row but during New York trading moved off daily highs. Price peaked at 0.8513, 1-week high but then failed to hold above 0.8500.

From the highs the pair fell to 0.8478 and currently trades at 0.8486, up 0.32% for the day so far.

NZD/USD on a corrective mode

The pair continues to hold a bullish short term bias, moving in a corrective mode, after falling sharply in July. Price is rebounding after finding support at 0.8400, a key level that also capped the downside in June.

USD/JPY destined to at least the 103 handle - BTMU

FX Strategists at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ highlighted that that the JPY is the weakest currency amongst major currencies.
